Healthy Recipe Series: Pumpkin Chili

This recipe was created by one of our very own athletes, Erin Moynihan. It is the perfect fall dish to satisfy all of you basic pumpkin fiends out there. Go give her a shout out when you try it! Follow her @erin_moynihan on Instagram! (She is a BEAST)



  • 10 oz Pumpkin, raw

  • 1 can of either black beans, pinto beans, or kidney beans (whichever work best for you)

  • 14 oz acorn squash

  • 14 oz zucchini

  • 30 oz tomato sauce

  • 1 container of diced jalapenos

  • 75 g diced green chiles

  • 12 oz green pepper

  • 32 oz grass fed ground beef

  • 4 tbsp chilli powder

  • 2 tbsp cumin

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 1 tbsp pepper

  • 28 oz canned tomatoes

Directions: Toss all of these ingredients in the crockpot and cook for 8-12 hours!

This recipe is great for a cold fall or winter day. Enjoy!
